Artist Statement

The way that I use paint is the direct opposite of my illustration style: it's about playing with color, rewarding fearlessness, letting go, losing control, and facing the unknown...

I also see absolutely no reason why I should not use art to express my rage about politics in 2018, my frustrations with modern city life, and my grief over climate change.
